Good progress on the 944 this afternoon. Beth helped me remove the the peeling rear hatch window tint film. Still need to do a little glass cleaning.
Then our friend Donnie called and said "head over to the shop" we'll look over the car, with his Porsche mechanic friend Bob. But first... on Friday I monkeyed with the fuses and connections for the cooling fans and that apparently fixed it! We checked the temps after driving to the shop and all was good. Fans are running as they should.
So after a few hours of hanging out and Bob working his magic, the car no longer stalls coming down to idle and the AC works! Best of all I learned a lot about my Porsche.
Plan on having the time belt and other related things replaced in the next month or so and checking the AC for leaks.
