Starting to get some parts arriving!

I placed parts orders last week for a few of the easy repairs that I can make on my own. So here's an update on the progress.

The passenger seat wouldn't slide so I peeked under the seat and saw a small rod was disconnected.

The rod should be connected into the little white plastic piece.

All fixed. The carpet needs a good cleaning though.

Next I replaced the struts that hold the hood up. While the pvc pipe worked well the new struts are more elegant for sure.

Porsche approved pvc hood pipe. Also works for the rear hatch.

Next was something that was really annoying. The driver side sun visor wouldn't stay in the up position.

I found a fix here (https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-944-951-968-forum/374083-sagging-sunvisor-fix.html) I think this is a temporary fix until I can find a new bracket.

Also reconnect the e-brake wire so the "Parking Brake" light shows on dash.
