First off the 944 S survived hurricane Irma as did we. It was nicely tucked a way with a couple other Porsche's and Beth's MX 5 at our friend Donnie's shop which is out of the evacuation zone.
After things got back to normal (we were without power for 5 days) I took the 944 S to get new tires and a alignment at
Big John's These guys are the best. They high speed balance the tire on the car!

The bummer is the 15 inch Porsche "Phone Dial" wheels have very limited options for performance tires anymore. Like zero.
That same week we attended our first
Porsche club social which was our first real drive in the car. We had the only 944 S at the event but there was a very nice 914 in attendance. The car drove like a dream after the alignment and tires.
I made an attempt to repair the power seat controls but after pulling the seat out I watched a German video on how to repair the seat... I need to get a couple thing before I'll be able to complete the repair so I took the opportunity to clean the carpet on the drivers side.

The mechanic had an opening and I'm excited to say I placed a nice parts order for the 944 S!
In a nut shell all the belts are being replaced, a few seals to fix oil leaks, new water pump, valve cover gasket, cam chain tensioner pad, aluminum cam belt cover, because the magnesium cover is just kind of falling apart.

I think that's about it for now.
