Today I finished sandblasting the valve cover of the 944S. I'll have to admit it wasn't loads of fun but I did love actually contributing.
I think Bob "The Mechanic" has found everything that needs to be addressed and it should be back on the road soon good as as new!
The run down is something like this...
- Timing belt
- Water pump
- Balance belts and seals
- Oil pump seal
- Painting the valve cover
- Valve cover seal
- Radiator hoses
- Power steering resevoir and hoses
- Heater valve
- Distributor cap/rotor, wires and plugs
- Cam belt cover
- Cam chain tensioner pad
- A little AC work
