By surprise my parts order from
944online.com showed up this morning with the last of my front swaybar parts and some other things.
So a few weeks ago while doing the first oil change I noticed the old swaybar bushings were shot and I saw there was a missing hose. After some researching I found it was the vent hose for the alternator.

The old left side inner bushing/bracket and drop link bushings still connected to the control arm. |
 |
Another shot. |
 |
My Park Tool Campy bottom bracket bearing puller worked great for pressing in the new bushings. |
 |
The new alternator vent hose. This was completely missing. However I was not able to secure the upper hose clamp so I borrowed a dual swivel socket from a friend hopefully that will do it. |
 |
New inner bracket, bushing and hardware along with new drop link bushings. |
Next up...
- The old sealed beam head lights are horrible so I bought a Hella H4 headlight conversion kit.
- Install front swaybar stiffeners once they are available.
- Replace the odometer gear that is broken.
- While repairing the odometer gear I going to upgrade all the dash and instrument lights with new led bulbs.
- Finish cleaning the carpet on the passenger side.
